Previously Google had match types as per keywords so you can test and try your audience with relevancy. But now you have to very cautious in term of match type because after Google introduce AI in its bidding strategy. Previously if we give highest level of perioity it was exact match but now things have changed alot
Now you need to understand how each match type is working.
1. Exact Match
Exact match is no more exact match it will come up with relevant searches. Previously if we want strong results then exact match was only type which we rely
2. Phrase Match
Previously this match type was only trigger when sequence of keyword was same but in recent algorithm this match type gaining momentum giving outstanding results. So in our experience this match type will dominate
3. Broad Match
This is the type when you want to gain more market share in that niche but drawback with this match type is that it attract non relevent search terms as well.
